Privacy policy
This policy explains what data may be processed when you visit francoisboulard.com, why it is processed and how you can exercise your rights.
Data controller
The data controller is François Boulard, 80 rue de la Roquette, 75011 Paris, France. For any request about your data or this policy, write to boulard.francois@icloud.com or use the Contact page and state “GDPR request”.
Data and purposes
- Technical browsing: IP address, security logs, browser and information required to securely deliver the site through Cloudflare.
- Contact: information entered in the form is used only to prepare and continue your conversation.
- Optional audience measurement: if you agree, Google Analytics receives navigation information to measure readership and improve the content.
- Display preference: your light or dark theme choice is stored locally in your browser.
Legal bases
Processing required for operation, security and responding to a request relies on legitimate interests or relevant pre-contractual measures. Google Analytics audience measurement relies on your prior consent. You can withdraw it at any time through “Manage cookies”.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is disabled by default. The script and measurement events load only after you explicitly agree to the “Audience measurement” category. The service may set identifiers such as _ga and _ga_*. See Google’s privacy policy ↗.
YouTube videos
YouTube videos do not load third-party content automatically. The iframe is inserted only after you select “Load the video”. Once loaded, YouTube may process information under its own rules; see Google’s privacy policy ↗.
Retention and recipients
Technical logs are retained for the time required for security and service administration. Contact data is kept for as long as needed to follow up the exchange, then deleted or archived where applicable. Recipients are strictly necessary technical providers, including Cloudflare, and Google only when you have authorised audience measurement or loaded a YouTube video.
Your rights
You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability of your data, object to certain processing and withdraw consent at any time. Write to boulard.francois@icloud.com or through the Contact page. You may also complain to the CNIL ↗.
Changes
This policy may change to reflect updates to the site, the services used or the regulatory framework. The date at the top identifies the current version.
